2018.8.8

TEKA RANCH - WHERE THE FUN NEVER ENDS - AUGUST 8, 2018 - WEDNESDAY - ADAM'S BIRTHDAY
Once I was out of bed this morning, I had to keep moving. GPLHS is going to be adding more buildings and a couple guys were going to come out here to present the plan. I quickly made a z-cake for something to nibble on.

When they left  I picked beans and okra and tomatoes, washed clothes and made dinner because company was coming. I made an easy hotdish for Mom, Marie, Bill, and Barbara. They had been to Mankato to see Dorothy. They arrived here by 12:30 even tho' they didn't leave Mankato until after 9, followed a detour, and got lost. We enjoyed the meal together, then they washed and dried the dishes and were back on the road.
Terry finished the cutting the 40 acres of alfalfa north of the house. I podded peas and snapped beans before going to pull weeds for awhile.

This evening we met D&D and O&L at the Rock Room at Buffalo Ridge in Gary for the "hamburger bar" and visiting.

My mini-vacation awaits.
