TEKA RANCH - WHERE THE FUN NEVER ENDS- JULY 6, 2018 - FRIDAY
A beautiful day here. Almost got a shower, but it stayed north.
The 1st zucchini tasted just fine. Terry wouldn't know. He never had a chance to taste it.
He finished haybining over east and then decided to put down a few acres of Garrison Foxtail.
The bank statements came yesterday, so I went through them today.
The tall weeds by the barn were bugging me, so I made them shorter. There are no sheep to keep them down.
I spent quite a bit of time in the kitchen. T&M and Joe and Pearl are coming tomorrow. I was sweeping the floor in the hall when someone pounded on the back door. I was very surprised by that because I hadn't heard anyone drive up. It was Samantha!! Woo-hoo!
We took a short drive over to Lake Alice to try to catch pictures of the sunset.
This is what we saw:
I heard back from the guy I contacted in Brookings about the strange blackbirds we saw on Sunday morning between Glenham and Selby. They are white-faced ibises. I googled them and, sure enough, that's what they are.
Samantha already went to bed and we are headed that way. Kathy, Terry, and Samantha
