TEKA RANCH - WHERE THE FUN NEVER ENDS - MAY 11, 2018 - FRIDAY
Yo! Another cool day here. 42 degrees when we got up.
I washed a load of whites and load of rags and hung them out before noon. It was quite cloudy, but the wind was blowing, so they should have dried.
We saw the hummingbirds again today so I filled 2 feeders for them. One of the little hummers rests by the bush under the west kitchen window. We scared him up several times when we went outside.
I was surprised that rain had fallen while we ate dinner. I went out to rake anyway and more sprinkles and drizzle fell. Terry brought the loader tractor and we filled the loader up with sticks and leaves. I used my electric chain saw to cut out a bunch of dead stuff and went after some of the buckthorn. We stayed out until we were drizzly wet. I put the clothes in the dryer to dry.
I wish I could have worked in the garden, but it is still too wet. I don't want to walk around out there, making deep tracks and packing the dirt.
I walked through the trees tonight. Terry walked down the road. It was an exciting day. 😄
