TEKA RANCH - WHERE THE FUN NEVER ENDS - APRIL 30, 2018 - MONDAY
The ol' wind picked up and blew hard from the south again today. This time the temps made it to 80 degrees. We aren't used to those kind of temperatures; we get hot and sweaty.

Terry fixed the mud flaps on the old Tahoe and took one of our old storm doors over to Rossows'. Theirs had gotten wrecked in the wind and our old one was the same size, except for the length and Terry could cut it to fit.

I don't know where the day went. I baked bread, but it didn't turn out very well. The recipe for white bread is supposed to make 3 loaves, but those get so large, that I thought 4 would be better. Then I let them raise too long because I thought they should get higher, but they didn't. It tastes just fine, the loaves are rather squatty.

We took a short walk over to Lone Tree this evening after the wind went down. Saw a few ducks. The egrets must have blown north with the WIND.
