OK, so Terry thought naming one of the horses Pony Pony Huckabuck was really weird, so I explained to him that when I was in grade school - grade 3 or 4- there was a story in our reading book about Pony Pony Huckabuck (or was it Mary Mary Huckabuck ?) Not too sure, but the Huckabuck's had a barn full of popcorn and somehow a fire starts and the popcorn pops and pops and fills their yard full of popcorn. I called a cousin and she had never heard of it.
BUT HERE IS A LINK TO THE STORY ABOUT JONAS JONAS HUCKABUCK AND MAMA MAMA HUCKABUCK AND PONY PONY HUCKABUCK:
I am really tempted to order the book. It was written by Carl Sandburg.
The roads weren't real great this morning, but were better this afternoon. Some places were quite slick.
We only worked at GSI for a short time. Then we went for some food. After that I got a haircut, we stopped at Menard's, I needed a few groceries, and the chiropractor treated my stiff back and neck since I had fallen on my caboose yesterday. By then it was time to head to church. The Boy Pioneers served hotdogs for supper.
Guess I'll go through the mail since we have 3 day's worth to look at.
