TEKA RANCH - WHERE THE FUN NEVER ENDS - FEBRUARY 22, 2018 - THURSDAY - GEORGE WASHINGTON'S BIRTHDAY - CINDEE'S BIRTHDAY
I walked around in the little pasture this morning and saw the horned owl. He flew across the corner of the pasture, but as he flew the crows tormented him. I scared him again, and once again the crows took off after him.
After dinner we headed to Canby so Terry could get the taxes taken care of. While we were in the office, it snowed like everything. We didn't think the snow was supposed to start so early, so we were surprised. We were also surprised that it was actually snowing. The forecasters haven't been getting it right in our area. Anyway, three inches of snow fell in that hour and the roads weren't good as we headed southeast. After Taunton they got better. We arrived at T&M's just fine.
The reason we are here again is that I plan on going to the funeral of my aunt. The funeral will be near Faribault in the morning. I hope the roads are OK then, but it has been snowing and sleeting here tonight. Brandon said the roads in Mankato were not good, so I won't go that way.
That's all. Goodnight!
