TEKA RANCH - WHERE THE FUN NEVER ENDS - FEBRUARY 21, 2018 - WEDNESDAY -
The wind didn't blow overnight and it didn't blow all day! So, even tho' the temps were cold, it felt pretty good outside.
I caught a ride to town with Orrin and Linda. Terry just took me to the corner north of here. Coles' don't like driving on our wash-boardy road and I don't blame them. We have decided the best way to handle the bumps is to drive fast. Then you don't feel every little bump.
After Bible class I caught a ride to GSI with Angie and Idelle. Betty and I left for awhile to eat lunch at Culver's. : ) I worked at the store until Terry picked me up for church. My job today was to empty a box of women's under garments. That takes longer to price than baby clothes.
The messages at our Lenten services are based on 1 Peter. After church the Girl Pioneers served Bar-b-q's. I thought a lot of people stayed to visit this week.
Tall Thomas went to live at someone else's house for a couple weeks until there's an opening at the meat market. And Terry brought us a couple of heifers from the neighbor to add to the 7 we have here.
1 Peter 1:19 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.
Adieu to you and you and you.
