TEKA RANCH - WHERE THE FUN NEVER ENDS - FEBRUARY 20, 2018 - TUESDAY -
The snow ended this morning, but the wind kept on blowing. We probably got 3 inches of really fluffy white stuff. The wind gradually went down throughout the afternoon. Some schools north and west of here had late starts.

The menu for supper after Lenten service tomorrow calls for bar-b-q's so I made a kettle full to help out. Before cleaning up the kitchen, I made another birdseed wreath. The jays, juncos, nuthatch and woodpecker really like the others that I've hung in the tree north of the house.

We took our daily walk around and through the trees. The main tracks we saw were coyote tracks and those tracks had been made during the afternoon after the snow sprites quit whirling and twirling, so if we'd have looked out at the right time, we'd have seen the varmint.

I brought the game cam in again and this is what was on it:

So this is the animal that scraped the moss from the ground, taking it with him into the hole in the trees. The mystery is finally solved.
The wind is supposed to blow again tonight and with our cold temperatures, Terry asked me to cover the orange waterer. I did. I hope it helps.                                      Goodnight!
