TEKA RANCH - WHERE THE FUN NEVER ENDS - SEPTEMBER 9. 2017 - SATURDAY - TOM AND RANDY'S 50TH (!) WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
We woke up to fog and mist again this morning. The sun popped out before noon, but sometimes clouds hid it and the air was heavy. It was not baling weather.
I caught up on some bookwork and sent some cards; now I remember I have 2 more to get in the mail. I baked honey wheat bread AND honey oatmeal bread. I like honey wheat for making tomato or cucumber toast, but Terry prefers honey oatmeal. I hadn't made honey oatmeal for a long time, so, to prove that I still think about him, I had to make honey oatmeal.
I also canned another 7 pts of tomatoes from those little tomatoes. One kind of tomatoes are large, but they have such goofy shapes, they don't ripen evenly, and they rot quickly. I wish I could find the label sticks so I 'd know what kind they are and not buy them again.
Terry moved bales home from the east field and baled up the corners. Now, if the weather would only cooperate so the last 40 acres could be baled tomorrow.... We'll see what tomorrow brings.
Terry is feeling light-headed again---I cut his hair! I think his hair- the little that he has - grows faster and faster.
Church tomorrow, of course.
Psalm 26:8 I love the house where you live, O Lord, the place where your glory dwells.
