TEKA RANCH - WHERE THE FUN NEVER ENDS - AUGUST 9, 2017 - WEDNESDAY
Hi- I made it home about 10 pm. Mom took the ride in Elaine's Avalanche quite well because the seat would lie back quite aways.
Mom has a nice room at the Good Samaritan Home in Selby. Kim and Janine were there to greet us. Kim does hair at the home 3 days of the week at the home, so she'll be able to see Mom quite often. Elaine and Bev didn't know how long they would stay, but maybe I"ll head back out next week sometime.
There was paperwork to fill out and then Janine took Bev and me to Mom's house to get some items Mom wanted, and I got my car so I could go home. I listened to a couple disks of "Call the Midwife" on the way home and made some phone calls. It was fun watching the clouds in the east change with the sun's colors as the sun set. We had a little shower tonight. Terry said we got .25" of rain!
Terry was going to mow the lawn, but the oil leak in the hydrostatic transmission has gotten terrible, so he took things apart. He may take the mower to Ivanhoe tomorrow where the dealer can have a look. Then he may get some corn from friends in the area.
I am really tired and am going to bed. Goodnight.
