Hardly any irises bloom in the trees any more because the trees have gotten taller and thicker.            Kokomo is enjoying her grass.
I went to town for women's Bible class, made a couple stops- one of which was Wishard's Insurance. When  I left there, I found a voice mail from Terry on my phone. The message said he was in Clear Lake, heading to SoDak Gardens and he needed to know what kind of tomato plants I wanted, but he would call GSI if he could remember the #. So I called him back, but absent-mindedly called Betty's # instead. While I was talking to Betty on her cell phone, the store phone rang. She answered and it was Terry, so she was talking to both of us at the same time. She told us that Liz B, the proprietor at SoDak Gardens was at GSI. How's that for goofy??

I helped at GSI all afternoon, and, yes, the weather was gorgeous today. When Terry returned from Clear Lake with my tomato and pepper plants, he mowed the lawn.

Before I planted the tomatoes, I walked toward Deboer's and picked the asparagus in their ditch. Margaret Ann had given me permission to get it; there was plenty just waiting for me and they don't eat it.

The pkg that Terry sent from the Gary post office on May 22, finally made it to Sioux Falls today via the slow boat. It had been sent to Huron, then Des Moines, then Sioux Falls and finally was delivered!

It's supposed to be warmer tomorrow. We'll be going to Sioux Falls to pick up one of our AZ granddaughters.

John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, " I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
