A very nice day here.
Terry took CAL's splints off this morning because he was having trouble with walking. Found out that he has an infection on his "ankle". So now we are treating him for that. Poor guy. Cal maneuvering to sit down. It takes him a long time to get his legs just right.
Henny with her little brood. We must ask Kim what kind of hens and roosters she has.
Terry sprayed weeds in the trees today. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a movement. It was a raccoon, so he shot it.
After I messed with CAL and made him a pen of his own (I didn't think he needed to live right next to the house), I was able to work in the garden. I planted corn, more onions, beets, Swiss chard, a few carrots, and some peas. I ran out of pea seed, so will get more tomorrow.
This evening I planted the ivy I bought at GSI yesterday. Come to think of it, the silo/barn planter, the shelf, and the boots came from GSI, too, at one time or another.
Terry attended the all-school reunion held at Grant-Deuel School tonight. He said there were a lot of people there. As far as he could tell, he was the only one from the class of '66. Altho' he was the class valedictorian, he was not listed as such. Someone else was.
This past Monday I had Terry mail a pkg for me when he was in Gary. The pkg was to be shipped to Sioux Falls. That pkg still hasn't made it to its destination! From Gary it went to Huron, from Huron to Des Moines, IA, from there back to Sioux Falls, but it has not been delivered to the addressee!!
Time to get those fresh-smelling sheets put on the bed so I have my mini-vacation!
Habakkuk 3:2 LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD, Renew them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.
