This is what we saw shortly after we got up this morning. When those clouds dissipated, we had really strong winds form the south for several hours. But the sun shone until noon or so when clouds started moving in again.

I wanted to take a walk, but would the clouds produce rain? How much rain? I didn't want to get wet and muddy. All in all, the total rain we got this afternoon was .01". I should have gone.
 A red dandelion?
There is one row of onions and a few garlic planted in the garden. I want to do more as soon as I can, but tomorrow I said I'd help at the thrift store again. Donations have been flowing in and many hands are needed. Yesterday I had so much fun visiting and working with Noma, Carol, Betty, Kim, and Shirley. I wonder who will all show up tomorrow.

We gave CAL new splints today. We had left them off for about a week, because the last splints rubbed, making sores, and we didn't want to aggravate those areas again. Today we added padding. CAL has a really ugly sore spot on his shoulder. If he lies down and lies down flat, he can't get up, but he struggles and struggles and he made a sore by rubbing on the cement in the barn. We had him in the barn because of all the wet weather we've had. I don't think the sore would be so deep if he'd have been outside on the grass. Truth be told, we are not sure we are getting anywhere with him. We noticed right after he was born- that he was kind of spastic- but we had hoped he would outgrow that with some TLC. Not so sure that's gonna happen anymore.

Tonight after the sprinkles, the wind died down and the sun came out.

See how still the dam is!

 Lynnette's calf.
                                  Petula's calf.
 Tonight's sunset.

Luke 24:50-52 When Jesus had led the disciples out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven. Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.

Goodnight!   Kathy, Terry, and Dandi
