More rain. We and a lot of other people would like to share with those who need some. This morning mist fell, but as the day progressed, the showers got heavier. I won't be able to work in the garden tomorrow and maybe not the next day either. That's how it goes.
After the rain, this is how the road on the south edge of Lake Alice looks. We took the Tahoe to Fritz's this morning so they could fix the window mechanism. As long as we were in town, I stopped at SoDak Gardens for a hazelnut bush. We should get more than one, but we'll wait until next year when we'll can get the new hybrid from MN. HOWEVER, if the deer, squirrels, turkeys, bluejays, etc, etc, etc, like them as much as the 'Net says, they'll never get a chance to grow anyway- kind of like Terry's aronia bushes.
I had told Terry this morning that I had to go through the bag of papers, binders, and folders that came with the Minnekota Circuit president's job. Once I got started, it wasn't too bad. I have thrown stuff away, and I think I could throw more. The board will have a meeting June 4.
I was so tired of sitting around, that I cleaned under the refrigerator tonight. After not doing that for quite some time, I was surprised there were only a few dust bunnies, 1 pen, 1 baby aspirin, 1 long piece of straw, and 1 uncooked spaghetti.
Psalm 4:8 I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
Goodnight~ Kathy, Terry, and the Dawg
